Win with Urban Eat – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. 1. 1. This promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.
      2. This promotion excludes employees and their immediate families of Samworth Brothers, their agencies, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
      3. No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion.
      4. A mobile phone with SMS functionality is required in order to enter this promotion.
      5. Only entries via SMS will be accepted.
      6. Promotion Period: The promotion is open for entries from 00.01 on 22 April 2024 until 23.59 on 19 May 2024.
      7. To enter the Promotion, you must text the words GRAND and your name to 60777 during the Promotion Period. Entries received outside of the Promotion Period will be void and will not be entered into the Promotion.
      8. Each customer can enter a maximum of once per day during the Promotion Period.
      9. Prizes: During the Promotion Period, there are a total of 15 prizes to be won. Each prize includes £1,000, which can be paid to winners by bank transfer, PayPal payment or cheque.
      10. Prizes are non-transferable. Payment will be made by bank transfer, PayPal or cheque to the winner’s nominated account. Payment will be made within 14 days of winner notification. It is the responsibility of the winner to provide the correct bank details and/or postal address to Prize Provider. The Promoter will not be liable for the non-delivery of the prize caused by the provision of wrong information. The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above. The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-non-travel/.
      11. The 15 winners will be the first valid entries electronically drawn at random from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions. The prize draw will take place on 20 May 2024, and winners will be notified by phone or SMS on or before 21 May 2024.
      12. Prizes that are undelivered or returned to sender will be deemed unwanted and the prize will be forfeited. The prize will not be re-allocated.
      13. Winners’ surnames and home counties will be available by contacting the Promoter at the following address, for a period of 3 months following the end of the Promotion Period:

      14. If you object to your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at the address shown at the bottom of these terms or by email at DPO@samworthbrothers.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
      15. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted during delivery to or from the Promoter due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied to the Promoter by the claimant in the application.
      16. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the promotion or use of any prizes.
      17. There are no other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners.
      18. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into. By participating in the promotion, entrants accept these terms & conditions and are bound by all the rules in full.
      19. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
      20. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
      21. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
      22. Any information collected regarding entrants into this promotion will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to any third party for marketing purposes unless the Promoter has consent. Entrants have a right to access, modify or remove their personal data by contacting the Promoter directly. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Privacy Policy which can be found annexed to these terms. Please also see paragraph 13 with regard to the announcement of winners.
      23. This Promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
